Red Winesap apple on G11
There are many version of Winesap, an antique apple with unknown origins. The flavor seems to have influenced the name, with a tart acidic finish similar to many wines and, for this reason, Red Winesap makes a tremendous baking apple and is also great for fresh eating and juice/cider production.
