Goldenseal Extract
This extract is made with home-grown Goldenseal (Hydrastic canadensis) that was planted on our Forest Farm. Goldenseal has traditionally been used to treat conditions of the mucous membranes such as sinus, to support digestion, stomach ulcers and constipation, as an immunostimulant and as broad spectrum antibiotic. Topically it has been used to treat issues of the skin such as eczema. Traditionally it has also been used during labor to help contraction and for this reason it should be avoided during pregnancy.
